Hello all!
Hard to believe that we're nearly halfway through 2025!
Bright spots so far - getting to go to Bernadette "Plazi" Plazola's Strum in the Desert Festival, hanging out at the Orange County Ukulele Festival, getting to play the final Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel with Big Butter, and teaching for the first time at the Centrum Foundation's Ukulele Festival in May.
This month I'm teaching for Starlight Ukes' Ukewest Online Festival, and started the annual series of dates with Holy Crow Jazz Band at Knott's Berry Farm. Catch me there with them on 7/7, 7/14, 7/20, 8/10, and 8/31. I'm also working on a solo EP, which I hope to have done by mid-July!
In mid-July I'll be teaching U-Bass and performing for the Midwest Ukulele and Harmonica Camp in Toledo, OH, and at the end of the month returning to the Centrum Acoustic Blues Festival in Port Townsend, WA.
Have some possibilities cooking up for August, then September brings the annual Los Angeles Ukulele Festival and in
October I'll be teaching and performing for the Reno Ukulele Festival. We'll see what else pops up for the holidays...
